This program was developed for the non-pilot who is a frequent small plane passenger. Its purpose is to
provide basic aviation knowledge for emergency situations, as well as to enhance their ability to share the flying
experience with their pilot partner.
The course consists of 5 hours of training broken up into two sessions each 2.5 hours long, which are taught
one-on-one and can be scheduled at the client's convenience.
Information covered in this course includes the following and is generalized to apply to all small aircraft:
Basic Airport Operations
Flight Controls
Flight Instruments
Takeoffs and Landings
Use of Radios
Emergency Situations
All participants will receive a take-home packet that highlights this information for future review. Cost will vary depending on exact hours used in the airplane, maximum cost is $490.
